Challenges Human Beings face in a Human Doing World How Spirituality and Religion Bridge the Connection
December 12, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Lisa Bahar presents on
Challenges Human Beings face in a Human Doing World
How Spirituality and Religion Bridge the Connection
Lisa Bahar will explore the vulnerabilities related to the increasing loss
of spirituality and religion and the inner yearning human beings have to
reclaim their lives from the Doing, by finding meaning in the Being. During
the season of Winter, spirituality and religion are themes that purposely
create contemplation, consideration and reflection of who we are and why we
are here.
Lisa Bahar will integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) concepts and
share how Wise Mind Practice from different Spiritual Perspectives can
enhance and inspire the connection to life and reclaim the essence of being
a human in a doing world. Attendees will have the opportunity to breakout
into small groups, explore their personal reflections with DBT specific
handouts to guide discussion.
